We had a pleasure spending time with Janine & Chris a couple weeks ago. For their engagement session, the couple wanted to visit the campus of McMaster University in Hamilton. Chris is working towards his PhD in Physics in New Jersey and that’s why it was important for them to have an academic environment  as one of their backgrounds. All of the old buildings created a unique backdrop for this special occasion. We explored the campus and then we headed over to the Cathedral Basilica of Christ the King for the remainder of the session. Janine & Chris was one of the most adorable couple that we’ve met. It was just so cute to see them together and saw the way they interacted with each other.

Janine & Chris’s wedding is coming up this August and we’re getting excited about their big day! One of the best parts of our profession is getting to know new and wonderful people as well as creating something very special and meaningful for them. We’re so honoured that we get to help tell their love story by documenting the beginning of the next chapter of their lives.

We hope you enjoy some of our favourites!

Katie & Brian chose the Limehouse Conservation Area for their engagement session, and it was a great choice. It was a super fun and beautiful evening (minus the mosquitoes! We have to remember to bring bug spray next time!), and they were amazing in front of the camera. They were laughing and teasing each other, and you couldn’t help but see the love they have for each other.

We hope you enjoy Katie & Brian engagement photos! Can’t wait until their celebration.

Here are our favourites:

Last weekend we had a wonderful shoot with a lovely couple – Maegen & Adam. Initially, we met them through a referral of a wedding, we did in June at Niagara-on-the-lake. Most of our couples find us through past client recommendations and we always greatly appreciate this compliment!

Maegen & Adam were so easy to photograph! With both of them having careers in media, they were so naturals in front of the camera. Maegen & Adam had 3 amazing outfits picked out for the session, with accessories and shoes to match. Their style and beauty only enhanced each photo.

We started the session in a beautiful park in Niagara-on-the-lake that sat behind Maegen’s parents’ home and then moved onto our next location which was a picturesque waterfront. “Silversmiths Brewery” was a perfect place to finish their engagement session. If you haven’t been to their brewery yet you need to stop what you are doing right now and head on over there. A special thanks to the owners for letting us use their brewery for this session. The entire experience was a blast and we truly enjoyed being a part of Maegen & Adam’s special day.

We’re super excited to shoot their wedding, and we’re absolutely thrilled for them!

Here are some of our favourites from Maegan & Adam’s session:
