What are your prices?

Tell us about your wedding through our contact form and we will be happy to send you our current rates. There is also some information about our current special offers and discounts presented at the investment section of our website.

How do we hire you?

Just email us or fill out our contact form for a quote. Everything can be done online from payment to the contract signing. Once you’ve made your decision and would like us to be your wedding photographers, please, let us know and we will be happy to provide you with a detailed quote, discounts and set you up with your personal client’s webspace on our site which will be used for online contract signing, payments and have detailed information about your event.

We require a completed and signed contract and a retainer of 40% to secure our services for your wedding date. The retainer fee can be paid by bank e-mail transfer VISA, MasterCard, cash or cheque. We cannot hold dates without signed contract and fee. The remainder of the balance is due two weeks before the wedding date.

Could we meet before I book you? 

Sure, if you have any questions, we’d love to chat over coffee, show you our beautiful portfolio, signature albums and discuss more of the details of your wedding. Just contact us and we will schedule a consultation with you. If you live too far away from our coverage area, we could contact via Skype or by phone.

What areas do you cover?

We are Waterloo, ON based photographers, but we service Hamilton, Brantford and GTA areas without any travel fees. If your event is far away from our location and you’d like us to be your wedding photographers, we are ready to travel across Canada, please contact us for details.

Do you work with an assistant on the day?

Yes, our team consists of two photographers, Elena and Alex, who photograph all weddings together exclusively.

How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?

Typically 6-12 months in advance as soon as you have a date and venue. Check with us for availability.

How long will it take for me to get my photos?

The editing process usually takes from 3 to 4 weeks but it could take a bit longer during peak season. We will be able to advise you when you can expect the photos.

What is purpose of an engagement shoot?

The reason we include a complimentary engagement shoot with all of our wedding packages is because it lets us get to know you before the wedding. It’s definitely a great way to start building a relationship. Also it gives you an opportunity to practice being in front of the camera and learning some key tricks before the wedding day. Finally, you can use the engagement photos for the wedding guest book, invitations and thank you cards.

What kind of equipment do you use?

We shoot exclusively with Canon digital equipment including Canon professional L-lenses.

Do you bring back-up equipment?

We bring back-up equipment for everything we use, including backup cameras, flash equipment and lenses.

How many pictures are usually provided?

The number of photos depends on the amount of coverage. For weddings we typically deliver 100 fully edited, hi-resolution, unmarked images per hour.

Do we get the photos on DVD?

We include our Signature DVD or USB flash drive with every wedding photography package we offer. This DVD or flash drive contains the high resolution files.

Can our family and friends take photos?

Totally, your friends and family are welcome to take their own pictures throughout the wedding day with the exception of the formals. As for the formals, no friends or family allowed. More people equals more distractions and less time taking photos.

Can I give you a list of photos that I want taken throughout the wedding day?

If you have any unique ideas, please feel free to share them with us, we will make every effort to bring these ideas to life. We would also love to have a list of the family members you’d like photos of during the family formals.

Do you require a meal?

Although it’s up to you, if your wedding is more then 5 hours of coverage, it’s a good practice to plan a meal for us as we’ll be fully dedicated to the event. In our experience people don’t like to be photographed while they enjoy their food so we find it’s the ideal time to eat as well.

What if you are sick on our wedding day?

We’ve never missed the event. But if it’s something bad or contagious, one of us will definitely arrive as intended and we will give you a refund for the missing one. We do understand the importance of the day and we will do anything to not let our customers down.

Do you have photography insurance? 

Yes. We are insured with the CG&B Group Inc and can provide a certificate of insurance if your venue requires it.

What type of albums do you offer?

We offer gorgeous fine art coffee table style albums. Please refer to the albums section of our website for additional information.

Do you take video?

No, unfortunately we don’t
